What is F@B?

F@B (Friends @Brindishe Lee) is a registered charity that exists to raise funds for the school community, not solely through fundraising events but much-loved community activities enjoyed by children and their parents/carers.  Recent examples of our fundraising activities include Annual Winter and Summer Fairs, Bake Sales, F@B Lottery, Christmas Trail and Make-at-Home Pizza Kits.

F@B is run by a committee of volunteers and willing helpers, but all parents/carers of school children are automatically members too and we welcome all kinds of support through time, services and funds that members can offer.

We work closely with the school management team and try to make sure our fundraising activities are inclusive to all Brindishe Lee stakeholders.  We regularly detail what we have planned and what progress we have made in school communications to keep everyone informed.

How have F@B funds helped the school?

Some examples of initiatives F@B has helped to fund in recent times are below:

  • A new school playground;
  • School pantomimes;
  • Year 6 party;
  • New sports equipment;
  • Bike/scooter racks;
  • New books; and
  • School courtyard improvements.
